Great Pizza, Pasta and ambience! Sits in a hidden place in Examiner street, it's something worth trying on a rainy, sunny or breezy day. In this photo it was drizzling a bit outside, which made the ambience cozier for us🍃

One of my comfort places when I’m craving for something sweet! Their frappe is just perfect for summer 🏖

Bookworms, you've found your spot. Pageturner Cafe offers a variety of books to swoon on while waiting on your order. 📚🍝 I especially love their Sardines pasta.

Warm on the eyes with their interiors, Sunkissed Cafe has chunky and tummy-filling menus. Try their all-day breakfast meals 🍳🥓 You're welcome.

Located in a cold, high place. This brings a 360 view of the city. The place has three floors and a rooftop. Tip: Go when the weather isn’t rainy. Sunset watching would be a treat!

This place wins in the interior category. It easily sets the rustic vibe to your day, sun up or sun down. We had the Carbonara and Tripple Tomato Cream pasta and filled our tummies more with Reese’s Choco Peanut Butter Frappe and Iced Matcha Latte as drinks. Their Carbonara has the right kind of creamy although I’m more used to Linguine as its pasta than the one they used. The garlic bread and all the other ingredients on my plate is warm and hearty! The Tripple Tomato Pasta would have been more impressive with a touch of spiciness, but overall it was good and filling. The drinks were fine, we just wished they had better paper straws cos it felt like it was getting softer the longer you use it for your drink. We’ll definitely come back here to try all the other entrèes and ooh la la, the pastries! 🧁

Pizza, Pasta, Drinking and Coffee place in one. The perfect spot to unwind without compromising the quality of food. Their meals are good for sharing I’d say you’ll get the value for your money. Bonus points for the interiors, too! Although it may not be a place for someone who likes well-lit places cos they go for warm and dim lights inside. They do have an Al Fresco setup just near the entrance door, but it won’t give you the same ambiance as when you’re dining inside.

Before we find ourselves going hungry from strolling in Ikea, we decided to have a good lunch in their Swedish Cafè. We didn’t regret it! This full blown meal left us smiling. Talk about 12 pcs. plant balls meal, mushroom soup, carrot and chocolate cake and our own choice of drinks. Totally worth every calorie to burn while shopping. I guess the only thing I could warn you about is to give it a pass when you get to the place hungry. Their queue could be very long during meal times.

Will come back here anytime for their light and organic Matcha cake 💚 At night, they would dim the lights and play some live DJ music. The place is clean and their staff is accommodating too. Every drink and meal is served well and on time. Kudos to this branch 💯

Been to a few Black Scoop stores before and yesterday was quite special ‘cos it’s the first time I tasted their Sour Cream fries 🥹🍟 we were surprised to find out it could pass as a dupe of Potato Corner’s sour cream flavour + the fries texture and were just so glad about it lol. Their servings are generous for our orders (the fries, ham & egg sandwich with chips and cheese on the side!) It’s even more than enough for 2 people. We had our usual frappe as drinks and since we were too full, we brought our drinks outside to finish ‘em up.

This airy café spot in Poblacion, Makati is a must-visit place if you want to add some calm to your day. The food and drinks are hearty and warm, we just wish their servings were bigger so there's more value for money. We enjoyed our afternoon stay here and took a few photographs around which by the way turned out really great -it helped that it was sunny and the natural lighting did its magic. Make sure you book your visit in advance 'cos the seats are quick to get filled even on non-peak hours!
