Ocean Park, Hong Kong — I’m so happy because I saw a real Panda at our trip in Ocean Park. Its also my first time to ride a cable car and I also conquered my fear of heights.
Great place to spend a day with family, especially if you have little ones in tow! 👫 There's so much to see and do; I guarantee you can't finish everything in a day. Plan strategically so you can experience everything you aim to! ✅
One of the largest theme parks in the city, Ocean Park Hong Kong is actually separated into two areas accessible via a cable car system. Adrenaline junkies should take advantage of the park’s exhilarating rides. Head straight to Thrill Mountain and get on the Hair Raiser—Hong Kong’s fastest (and only floorless!) roller coaster! There are also different animal shows and educational exhibits for people who aren’t too sold on the heart-pumping attractions. Of course, you must visit the various sanctuaries in the area. Get up close and personal with all sorts of land and sea creatures, including giant pandas, koalas, dolphins, jellyfish, and so much more!
Bring your budding marine explorer to Ocean Park Hong Kong! As a region flanked by the open sea and hailed as a major port city, it’s only fair that Hong Kong hosts a theme park with a wealth of aquatic creatures! Explore the wonders of the deep blue at the Grand Aquarium before venturing into the various creature exclusive habitats. The fun doesn’t end here—there are plenty of adrenaline-pumping attractions in the area too! Scream your hearts out at the Hair Raiser; cool off at The Rapids; or just take it easy on the toddler-friendly rides in Whiskers Harbour.

Haw Par Villa
Welcome to hell. That is what Haw Par Villa theme park is all about. One of its mains attractions is the Ten Courts of Hell, featuring the gruesome depictions of hell kn Buddhism. It park reopened in 2021 after closure in 2020. Other attractions include: Journey to the West, Fengsheng Bang, Legend of the White Snake, and a lot more! It is a treasured past, although one endangered of fading away due to new generation of tourists which are disinterested in statues and mythologies.
Tokyo DisneySea
As someone who grew up watching Disney shows and films, and has been to Hong Kong Disneyland multiple times, this was a brand new experience for me. The entire park is sea themed, and I personally love the Venice inspired area and the Little Mermaid area. Those two are the most memorable ones in my opinion. Overall, this is an amazing place, and I would love to go back someday.
