History unfolds before your eyes as Germany present you its rich culture on a silver (sausage) platter
Koblenz
All about food and castles!
The food is great, service is even better. The setting is perfect. Love the old vibe of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Most restaurants here in Germany feel homey and cozy. The most important is that, service is really fast, drinks are served within 5minutes while waiting for your food. Menus have photos that make it helpful for people who can't understand the local language. The perfect lunch place before heading to the Marksburg Castle, because you need to make sure you explore the castle with a full tummy😁

The fortress is massive. Make sure your tummy is full before visiting this place. Perfect view of over Rhein and the city of Koblenz. The fortress is impressive, the military paraphernalia is very real, and the structure is well preserved. This place is plenty of history. Too bad, we weren't able to ride in the cable car because it's closed during winter to see the entire island. I have realized during this trip, that I am not a big fan of ❄ ☃️🙄 Visiting this again next year with our kids in summer!

Vallendar is a town in the district of Mayen-Koblenz, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. This is also the location of WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management, one of the best business schools in the world. We were able to attend the Karnival, it takes place every year before Ash Wednesday. Parade of people in costume, singing, drinking and being merry while marching for at least 5 hours, so much fun experiencing this in Germany. Be prepared to get drunk 😂

A classical Greek restaurant in Germany. The restaurant is beside an airport, a former US army airfield. It is nice to watch the small planes from the terrace of the restaurant. Food is good, service is really fast.
