Makati City
My husband Paolo and I have always had a passion for the arts. I’m often drawn to the masters; and I think that’s because I feel a natural connection to their works. I also enjoy looking at more contemporary pieces, but I’m still learning about them. Luckily, Metro Manila has a booming art scene where I can drown in creativity! Here are some of my favorite arts and cultural spaces in the city.
Founded in 1998, The Drawing Room originally focused on exhibiting works on paper. Then, they expanded on featuring contemporary art across all mediums. Today, it represents some of the country’s established and emerging artists, often throwing them into the international creative scene. I love it here because the pieces are often affordable. Plus, the staff are always so willing to help you navigate the space.
