Elephant is the symbol of Thailand. However, over this awful period, so many have endured so much and our elephants have also been victims of this difficulty. Elephant Nature Park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center in Northern Thailand where you can volunteer and visit to help and take care of these beautiful creatures during your time with them. Volunteers and visitors contribute to the healing while learning about their lives past and present. One note to take however is to NEVER, please never ride them.

Sign up as a volunteer to watch the elephants run freely in a safe environment! You’ll also get to feed and bathe them—after a quick course on elephant care and preservation, of course. Book a month in advance to secure a slot!

So so so worth it!!! Not only do you get to feed them, you get to learn about the conservation work they have done for the endangered Rothschild giraffe! You also get to learn about the different giraffes like Maasai and reticulated giraffe and their habits to help you with the safari later!
