Crossing off one dream destination at a time.
My ultimate dream destination. Ever since Happy Feet, I made a pact with myself that I am good to die when I see the Aurora Borealis in real life.
Tromsøya, Tromsø, Norway
I have a creepy obsession about the Holocaust. Its dark past, sad walls, Hitler, Himmler and the rest of the Nazis and SS, Auschwitz, the Jews, the survivors, the victims—their stories. One day, I’d walk in these same walls, breathe the air in these same rooms where no movie, documentary or book can ever describe and define history as these walls can.
Oswiecim, Poland
The same way I feel about the Holocaust, Hiroshima houses remnants of World War II. The Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. I mean the rich history that made the world.
Japan
Here in Krakow was the ghetto where over 1 million Jews were murdered in the concentration camp—men, women, and children. Auschwitz Birkenau was also inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. I would recommend for you to check out a few Netflix docu-series/movies on holocaust just to get the feels of these camps.
Ofiar Niemieckiego Faszyzmu 12, 32-600 Brzezinka, Poland
Located in a renovated warehouse in the Kazimierz district is where you’d find an exhibit of the horror Jews in Krakow were in World War 2.
Dajwór 18, 31-052 Kraków, Poland
Remember the movie Schindler’s List? About a German businessman who saved over 1,200 Jews, portrayed by Liam Neeson? Yep, this museum was entirely dedicated to that exemplary one human being that lived during the holocaust.
Lipowa 4, Kraków, Poland
I recalled a quote from one of the holocaust survivors, “It was a terrible situation that even God didn’t want to be in this place.” I cannot imagine leaving this extermination camp as the same person. It would take a ton of grit and courage to visit this.
DW627, 18-112, Poland
Outlaw Run was featured in Guinness World Records 2015 as the world’s steepest wood coaster. Definitely not for the weak! Who’s with me?! 😂
399 Silver Dollar City Pkwy, Branson, MO 65616, USA
The ultimate honeymoon destination to me is Maldives. The ultimate Me-time destination to me is Maldives. The ultimate squad destination to me is Maldives. Maldives all the time, TBH. 🍺
Gaafu Alifu Atoll, Hadahaa, North Huvadhoo 20054, Maldives
Pristine Blues, crisp Whites, salty air, laid back afternoons, sunset, a glass of wine—hold it, a BOTTLE of wine—we’re done here.
Naxos, Naxos and Lesser Cyclades, Greece
Oh, Aurora. I could watch you my entire life.
Kakslauttanen 9, Saariselkä, Finland
Just another auroral zone. For obsession purposes only. 😏
1110 John Kalinas Rd, Fairbanks, AK 99712, USA
Another locale in Greenland that offers a magnificent view of the Aurora. 😌
Sisimiut, Greenland
If there are nationalities I envy the most, it would have to be the Icelanders. Being so privileged to catch the Northern Lights more than 8 months in 1 year! Migrate? 😆
Landmannalaugar, Iceland
Reviews say Svalbard is overpopulated so Aurora spectators flock to it’s neighboring locales to catch the dancing lights. BUUUUUUUT, do not be so quick to check out cos apart from the sky show, there is a chance to see live Polar Bears around!
Svalbard, Svalbard and Jan Mayen
Apart from Fairbanks and Anchorage in Alaska, you can catch the Northern Lights in Brooks Range. The least preferred locale but better than nothing.
Brooks Range, Alaska, USA
I mean sure, Scotland and the rest of the UK rarely get sunshine but they have the Aurora! Let’s be okay with that. 😅 Shetland highland is closer to the North Pole than anywhere else in Scotland! Closer to🎅🏻!
Shetland Islands, UK
Like its Northern Hemisphere counterpart, the South has Aurora Australis. Mostly seen across the horizons of Australia and New Zealand. Definitely closer in proximity to where I am but let’s target the big ones, yes? 😅
Stewart Island / Rakiura, Southland 9818, New Zealand
The Dancing Lights of the South are best seen as far South possible which is Tasmania in Australia. The show may not be as spectacular as the Borealis but theirs is visible ALL YEAR ROUND especially during winter and spring equinox in September! Not bad, I say. Other locales in Tasmania to visit: Satellite Island Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park Central Highlands Bathurst Harbour You’re welcome! 😉
Bruny Island, Tasmania, Australia
I cannot stress enough that apart from the Northern Lights and Greece, Maldives is where I want to be. Exactly here. At this 5-star luxury villa that’s priced at PhP35,000.00/night.
Emboodhu Finolhu, South Malé Atoll, Maldives
The very first place I’d go to ONCE I achieved that summer beach body! Ehrm.. 🤔
South Atoll, Dhidhoofinolhu, Maldives
Majdanek is where about 360,000 Jews were killed during the Holocaust. It is the most preserved Nazi concentration camp just on the outskirts of Lublin. Here in Majdanek is where you will find the “Gates of Hell” memorial. At the far end is another memorial where the buried ashes of the victims were.
Majdanek, 20-319 Lublin, Poland
Mittelbau-Dora was a Nazi concentration camp that housed approximately 60,000 prisoners during the WW2.
Kohnsteinweg 20, 99734 Nordhausen, Germany
I love, love, love drinking and I imagined myself to live like a haciendero and just bask in vineyards, wait until harvest season and just drink wine and eat cheese and prosciutto. Uhm, is that so wrong? 😂
3070 St Helena Hwy, St Helena, CA 94574, USA
Bodegas Ysios, a vineyard that reminds me so well of Like Water for Chocolate.
La Hoya Bidea, s/n, 01300 Guardia, Araba, Spain
TBH, I am confused if this is a vineyard or an architectural piece, IDK. I need a bottle of Red. 🍾
Paseo de la Castellana, 104, 28046 Madrid, Spain
I would like to think that this is the Napa that Mr. Big left Carrie for. If yes, then I’m fine with it.
7900 St Helena Hwy, Oakville, CA 94562, USA
I don’t know about you but this is where Vince and I would marry the third time. 🍷🍷🍷
1060 Dunaweal Ln, Calistoga, CA 94515, USA
Portia is powered by rooftop solar panels! Cool, huh? And then when it’s harvest season, grapes are dropped on the roof where they are crushed then processed. Then its juice pours down the containers below. A little FYI. 😬
Carretera N1, km 170, 09370 Gumiel de Izán, Burgos, Burgos, Spain
A constant item on my NY Bucketlist is the World Trade Center Memorial (alongside Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment in Manhattan.)
180 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10007, USA
Looks helluvexpensive but why not! 😂 Iceland’s Blue Lagoon is believed to be beneficial to people with skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. I am so happy to have found this on NatGeo! I mean the Powder Blue water! It looks so creamy I could marinate myself in there until I prune!
Nordurljosavegur 11, 240 Grindavík, Iceland
I have this (fictional) feeling that the closest I could get to Tony Stark is in MIT. Of course, him being a (fictional) graduate of the university and me as a mega fan of the Iron Man/Avengers franchise. 😍 #FanGirl

I never liked flowers. They are beautiful but man are they expensive and they rot. But Husband liked giving me flowers for special occasions so I started appreciating them as years went by. Like the time when he said sorry through a bouquet of White roses. Or a said Happy Valentine’s through 3 colorful Tulips. And if course my beautiful wedding bouquet. So somewhere along the way, I imagined training Vince to be an Instagram husband and maybe getting him set up a photo op in Holland’s Tulip fields. 😂 Dreaming of Tulips and Calla Lillies right this moment.
Langeweg, 4571 Axel, Netherlands
Tooooooleeeeeeeeeeeeps! I will come for you! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 I’m sure you are one of the happiest things in Amsterdam apart from weed! 😂

Whispering Springs Lavender Farm is one of Young Living’s sources of Lavender flowers apart from France. Mona is the largest herb farm and distillery in the world with 1,400 acres of Purple field! Can you imagine the world smelling like Lavender?! Visit the farm when you’re in town and learn a thing or two on essential oils, go on a group farm visit, etc.
3700 Old Hwy 91, Mona, UT 84645, USA
A Lavender field in Asia! 💜 These tiny beauties are cultivated in Hokkaido, Japan and are in full bloom in summer. That is late June to early August. So, start planning your 2021 wisely!

Did you know that Sunflower symbolizes Hokkaido’s summer? (Lol, for real? Sunflower for summer?) 🤣 Anyway, here’s a refreshing splash of Yellow in your face! Just makes the heart happy, doesn’t it? Tourists flock in this vastness of Golden fields mid-July to mid-August.
143 Itaya, Hokuryu, Uryū-gun, Hokkaido 078-2511, Japan
Now that it’s looking like I need to park my Japan dreams due to Corona, lemi consider planning on domestic travel—like driving long hours for this cold, dreamy place that is up North. 2 hectares of Cabbage Roses, Sunflowers, Snapdragons, Marigolds with a stunning view of Mt. Pulag. Why not.
Atok, Benguet, Philippines
What about artificial and LED-powered roses in Cebu? Consider this a side trip before or after skydiving in Bantayan Island? 😜
Day-as Barangay Road, Cordova, Cebu, Philippines
Another flowery side trip if you’re in Cebu, yes? :)
Cebu City, 6000 Cebu, Philippines
The world’s highest elevation at 29,029 feet, Mount Everest or Mount CHOMOLUNGMA is found in Nepal. I can almost resonate with how much fervor the toughest mountaineers in the world have over this magnificence. The same urge I have to dive into the RMS Titanic wreck that’s about half of the Mt. Everest’s height. And of course, that might kill me at the depth of 1,100 feet. 🥴
Mt Everest
Mount Aconcagua towers at 22,841 feet. It is the highest mountain outside Asia and considered the 2nd highest of the Seven Summits (Mt. Everest being 1st). Fun facts: - First recorded ascent was in 1897 by a European expedition - First female ascent was in 1940 and she was French - Youngest person to reach the summit was a 9 year-old from California - Oldest person to climb it was an 87 year-old grampa - and more than 140 deaths due to altitude sickness, falls, heart attacks and hypothermia Nice. 😏
Aconcagua, Mendoza Province, Argentina
Very Vanilla ice cream from afar! 🍦 Mount McKinley in North America peaks at 20,327 feet! Fun facts: - First ascent was in 1913. - In a year, about 1,275 people attempt to climb the summit. Only half succeeds. (But not necessarily die. 🤪) About 14 need rescuing. - There is less oxygen at the summit compared to other mountains given its location which is so far North.
More detailsMt. Kilimanjaro is located in beautiful Africa, towering at 19,341 feet. Fun facts: - Kilima means “little mountain” and Njaro means “White” or “shining.” - Scientists predict that seasonal ice on the mountain may completely disappear by 2022 as it started to decrease by over 90% between 1993 to 2000.
Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Sounds like Bullmastiff? 🤪 Massif is actually a section of a planet’s crust that is demarcated by faults and flexures, according to Google. 😜 Mount Vinson is in Antartica with its peak at 16,050 feet. Fun facts: - It was first climbed in 1963 by an American expedition - Called the PEAK OF SUPERLATIVES being the last discovered, last named and last climbed of the Seven Summits - It is also the most remote, most expensive and coldest of the Seven Summits Sounds: A. Scary B. Intimidating 🤣
Vinson Massif, Antarctica
Doesn’t it look mean and deadly? 😂 Mount Carstensz Pyramid is the tallest mountain in Australia and Oceania, located at a province in Indonesia at 16,024 feet. It is also home to one of the world’s largest mines. One mountaineer described Carstensz like a “beautiful woman that seduces you while remaining mysterious. Once in a while it shows you all of its beauty, only to be covered in the veil of mist a minute later. It is provocative but attainable. It makes you tormented and restless, as it does us.” Hmmm.. 💃🏻
Puncak Jaya, Tembagapura, Mimika Regency, Papua, Indonesia
White fluff at 18,510 feet! Mount Elbrus is the highest mountain at the boarder if Asia and Europe and is actually an inactive volcano that last erupted between 0 and 100A.D. Maaaan! 🔥
Mt Elbrus, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Russia, 361616
One of the safest ways to whale watch. So not a supporter of theme parks holding whales and dolphins captive for the pleasure of showing them off obeying trainers’ commands. It’s animal abuse, frankly speaking.
950 Westlake Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
Everybody now: Havana, oh na na Half of my heart is in Havana, oh na na He took me back to East Atlanta, na na na But my heart is in Havana Okay, stop Camila. 😂 Capital of Cuba, hometown of my favorite free diver, Pipín Ferreras. Before getting hooked in diving, I only knew of Cafe Havana in Makati, kidding. 🤪 I imagine festivals and jazz and hot summers here very much like Rio. One day, Havana. 💙
Cuba
Living a-la Ree Drummond, yes? I would absolutely settle here without the caring for ranch animals part. I’d hang in the kitchen all day long but def not helping a cattle to give birth. 😜
Eagan Bonaparte Forest Service Rd #3700, Thompson-Nicola E, BC V0K 2K2, Canada
Argentinian haciendero for a day? Why not. 😏 Few things I love about this ranch: 1. Its colonial-style mansion 2. Meat 3. Selection of wines
Camino a Santa Catalina km7, Santa Catalina, 5221, Córdoba, Argentina
Sergio Santibañez and MariMar having such “moment” by the pool. Enter Señora Angelica Santibañez. Stabs MariMar with an evil look. Turns to Macha, MariMar’s pet hen—writer’s block. Ooops. 😂 Right??? Like plucked from a scene in MariMar, the telenovela that put Thaliá on the limelight in the ‘90s.
Domicilio Conocido, San Antonio, Comala, 28463 Colima, Col., Mexico
Jackson and I would live happily ever after here, for sure. Located in Montana, too, this super lush ranch is complete with a camping butler! Hmmm.. How much a night, please?
40060 Paws Up Rd, Greenough, MT 59823, USA
Blanket Bay ranch is located in New Zealand and has been featured as backdrop for LOTR films. Neat, yes? 😉
4191 Glenorchy-Queenstown Road, Glenorchy 9372, New Zealand
Living Belle’s provincial life! 😍
Kurfürstenstraße 9, 34117 Kassel, Germany
This is possibly the site where Jesus Christ was buried and resurrected. Unearthed in 1867, the site is presently a place of Christian worship. I think I would not want to leave the place alive once I set foot in it.
Conrad Schick St, Jerusalem
Considered as one of the most significant pilgrims in Israel as the sulfuric waters bring healing to people visiting. Tabgha is also the place where it was believed that Jesus Christ fed 5,000 people with loaves and fish.
Tabgha, Israel
It was during the storm when Jesus Christ performed another miracle by walking on this very sea. “Take heart: it is I. Do not be afraid.” I specifically love this story in the Bible where Peter’s faith was tested when he doubted Jesus’ power to save him. If I will ever renew my Christian faith, this is where I’d want to be re-baptized.
Sea of Galilee
Cana is where Jesus performed His first public miracle by turning water into wine, proving He is the promised Messiah. His second miracle also happened here when He healed an official’s son.
Kafr Kanna, Israel
Reminiscent of one of my most favorite K-Drama, My Secret Terrius, Prague was where Kim Bon lost the love of his life, Agent Choi Eun-kyung from a secret operation.
Karlův most, 110 00 Praha 1, Czechia
Who would've thought the structure was built in the 1800s. This reminds me of the Romanovs in Russia (only Prague).
