Chowking’s Nai Cha resembles a cheap version of a Thai Nai Cha. Tastes like a true blue milk tea but lacks the authenticity of tea. Sugar level: fixed at around 60% Price: sells cheap between PhP50-80.00 I say if you are aching for milk tea, as in—no budget but got to have it—Chowking is the answer.

Tiger Sugar is all hype for me. Amazing how a cup is made with all the “science” of what a bobba really is vs. the pearl. Sugar level: too sweet for my liking Price: a hefty ¥650.00 (PhP300.00) Just expensive sugar, is all.

My fondest memory of Pearl Lion in Vengo is probably it being my last milk tea in Makati before the lockdown. 😭 I will always remember your 50/50 sugar level and how affordable you were at P120ish for a large cup. I miss you.

Just that small kiosk by the corner of Hot Star chicken. I liked that it specializes on fruit teas more than milk/chocolate flavors. Too foamy though.

The best milk tea in Taipei so far! Happy it was recommended to me by a friend before we even stepped out of Taipei 101. Creamy, right amount of sugar, not too expensive. Kind of miss it, TBH. 😞

New Yi Fang is in the South! Minimalist interior, very spacious! Milk tea was okay, nothing extraordinary. Very affordable at P160 for a large cup.
