The best fruit-filled doughnuts ever—soft and light buns, tangy fillings! Not a fan of those chocolate/dulce de leche-filled ones but they’re also not so bad. I highly recommend Strawberry, Blueberry and Mango-filled! Def my kind of carbs! 🥶 Owners are also down-to-earth and friendly! Good vibes from food to staff!
More detailsTrue to it’s promise, The Golden Catch has the freshest and chunkiest yellow fin tuna sashimi eveeeeeeeer! These babies are air-flown from Mindoro and dispatched fresh, not frozen. This small pack gets you around 12 HUMONGOUS pieces (I swear, it took me 3 bites to finish a piece) for P600. It’s an entire meal, man! (IDK actually cos I still had some room for dessert. 🤣) What’s great about it, it goes with an ice pack so it’s still super fresh when it arrives to you! Check out stuff from their menu: Norwegian Salmon Otoro Chutoro Hamachi Toro Hamachi Uni Sashimi Irish Supreme Oysters
More detailsI only knew Mama H as a super cool party hostess—she serves the best food when friends come over. She cooks Korean food, for the love of god! Coming from a family of bakers and a true-blue homemaker, Mama H strengthened her menu slowly but surely from her signature Chocolate Monster Cake to (the deadly) Baked Nacho Dip. Everything is richly baked. Love the girl. Love the food. Seriously a 10/10.

RJ and Baby’s namesake shop’s humble beginnings go way back in 2019 at a makeshift tent at home selling just a few products to friends and neighbors only. It was basically a garage filled with all sorts of plasticware from pots to garden furniture. Fast forward 2 years, RJ’s passing and a global pandemic, Mirawares has moved into a rental commercial space and expanded its merchandise to clothing and food, all being managed by a single working mom with a lot of support from their friends and family. If this is not humble enough of a beginning, I don’t know what is. 😏 So head over to Mirawares - Pacita Avenue in San Pedro for all your plasticware needs and Aice ice cream (my favorite, BTW)! Check out Mirawears by Mirawares on Facebook for a weekly Facebook live of apparels from kids to adult clothing!

The best loose tea to date! Finding an alternative to the commercial instant iced tea was a pain in the a$$ (cos sugar) so getting my hands on this tea set was a blessing! The last decent tea I have ever had was in 2011–Singapore’s iced lemon tea.🤣 I specifically like my teas cold so I steep the leaves in hot water first (1 pitcher does it for me so I don’t need repeat several times a day), let it cool, add honey (or not) then pour over ice. Pro-tip: Hibiscus Sangria is to die for especially at this time of the year in the PH (cos I’m a sucker for Starbucks Hibiscus Teavana. 🥴)! Pro-tip 2: Check out Project Tea 28’s coupon on Lemi and grab the gift set for just P500 instead of P700! SUPER STEAL! 10/10! I’m in love!
