If you are looking for the perfect AirBnB that’s within the proximity of the kinds of street food Taipei has to offer, book a place in Wanhua District. EVERYTHING is within reach, from food to drugstores to malls. I assure you, no hAngry moments. Do not leave Emei Street without trying: - Pineapple/salted egg bun - Egg tart - Beef noodle soup - Rice flour noodle - Hot Star chicken - Stinky tofu - those cute milk tea things from 7 Eleven

Come in empty stomachs, people! Raohe will leave you full for one whole week! It may not be the most sanitized of places but man, the food is amazing! Lots of take home cute trinkets, too! Your bargaining skills will be put to test also. 😅

One of the best destinations in Taipei—Shihlin District! Fried milk cubes, man! Feel free to haggle with the Aunties and Uncles when you buy souvenirs, you might bump into the nicer ones, if not, then walk away. 😂 We kind of gambled this trip cos it was at the early stages of the CoVid outbreak so we stayed out of the pubs and only bought drinks home. Street food was our go-to “tapas” when we booze at night. Thank God for barbecues!

Shame it was friggin raining and fogging when we attempted to Taipei 101 ourselves. So we ended up eating and milktea-ing our misery away. I got to say, the tower was so magical at night. It was so pretty. A little FYI: back in 2004, this building was the tallest in the world that it made the Guinness World Record until Burj Khalifa broke its reign.

Traversed 3 hours from Taipei to catch a glimpse of the cherry blossoms. Failed. So we did what any tourist would do—we ATE. 😂

Ah, you haven’t been to Taiwan if you haven’t been to Shifen to spend 250NTD for a sky lantern. 😂 Ready your cash for loads of souvenirs you can take home from food to trinkets! Happy things!
