I actually love sunnies brands and of course their cafe is my favorite. As a cafe addict, I actually enjoy working on their premises rather than other cafe shops. The ambience is just perfect for me especially when there are only few people dining in. I can’t wait to dine in again as I get stressed doing my schoolworks 😅
whoever spearheaded food apps that comes w/ BOGO treats are heaven sent. we unlocked our codes at sunnies cafe and boy did we stuff ourselves clean w/ their carb dishes. almost all of the rice bowl menu we ordered and the simplest of them all was the one that caught my palate’s attention - the spam rice. it’s your spam w/ scrambled eggs on top of brown rice but the drizzle of spiced aioli was the shiznit! the beef kimchi bowl too was a scene stealer. my love for kimchi is always the least but having this makes my heart beautifully confused, it was very good. as for the pasta, the baked rigatoni was amazing. i love the tang of the red sauce as well as the boldness of the spice and red wine in the mix. though the chicken and pancakes are a must-try, it aint such a gem. the pancakes were a lil too tough, but the butter and maple syrup made it forgivable, the chicken was juicy and crisp on the outside but it was a tad too salty.
The prettiest café in Megamall! Sunnies has improved their menu so much since they opened their first branch in BGC. I genuinely enjoy the food here now, not just the ~aesthetics~. My favorites are: • Pumpkin Purée Soup • Truffle Taters • Spicy Calamari • Pot Roast Beef • Umami Surf & Turf Bowl
