Ho Lee Fook’s chef Jowett Yu is known for fusion dishes that serve up creativity and quality in equal measure—and his Roast Goose is no exception.
Yu revealed that his method is an adaptation of the traditional Cantonese recipe: he begins with a marinade of star anise, ginger, cassia buds, and other spices that soak the bird’s flesh in powerful flavors. Combined with a crispy skin from a double-roasting method, you have heaven on a plate from Ho Lee Fook!
One of my wishlists, Single Origin. Definitely a cozy vibe to drink coffee, don’t you think? It’s ambiance is really relaxing. Can’t wait to try it out sooner or later 🤔
