Pimalai is breathtaking. And the service and food here exceeds all expectations. Their salads are incredible, and on my trip I learned why: they have their own organic farm. I’ve returned more than once. This is the perfect place to escape the world.

I’ve been to Pimalai more than once and it still remains amongst my favourite places to rest and rejuvenate. When I’m there I feel completely cut off from the rest of the world, in an oasis of privacy. The food there is fantastic, especially the salads 🥗 that come from the owner’s own organic farms up north. The view at breakfast is utterly breathtaking, and the service is impeccable. The rest of Koh Lanta island 🌴 is its own world, and there are two delicious restaurants in addition to the already great food at Pimalai. You can rent a car from the resort (National Car Rental) and explore some of the island just for kicks. But Pimalai is definitely still the best place to be. 🥰
Located at the south end of Koh Lanta, Pimalai is a world apart. If you arrive by boat you are ushered into the resort and really have no need to leave! All the rooms are luxurious, but in particular, the private villas are amazing, with your own secluded pool overlooking the hillside leading down to the sea. Your only company may be some of the local wildlife. The resort can also organize activities, like a boat trip to local islands where I had a great snorkelling experience.
