If you’re looking for undiscovered gems, you should probably visit Bicol.
This place definitely lived up to its name, majestic. This was our first destination when we arrived at Virac, Catanduanes. In Majestic Puraran, you can surf, bask in the sun or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings there.

After our short stay in Majestic Puraran, we went hiking at Binurong Point. You don’t need to go to Batanes for the rolling hills and see the amazing view of the ocean when there’s also one in Bicol! The fifteen to thirty minute hike there was exhausting but I can guarantee that once you reached the viewpoint, everything will be worth it.

One of my regrets when I visited Tuwad-tuwadan Blue Lagoon was not bringing extra clothings. The water looked very refreshing and could instantly clean my impurities away (I’m not exaggerating here!). You have to take caution going down the lagoon tho. If you’re afraid of heights, the trek when you visit the area might not be for you.
