There are already a ton of eat-all-you-can Korean BBQ places in Manila, and lines are getting longer and longer anywhere you go. Some places aren’t worth the minimum two-hour waiting time, but P The Sam (a cool nickname for the place) has renewed my love for K-BBQ! I celebrated “Friendsgiving” here last week with @caldefool, @jackiedeveza, and @pumarti, and had the 1 + 1 Unli-Mix meal. Basically, a round of unlimited pork, beef, and chicken barbecue served with rice and banchan (side dishes) for just PHP290 per person. The servers were pretty awesome, too, despite it being a busy night. I’m definitely coming back!

The long line feels like it's never-ending. We always have to wait 1-2hrs before we get a table. It's always worth it, though! Samgyupsalamat's cheese is the best; just thinking about it while typing this makes me hungry!

First Korean BBQ of the trip! Here, the servers cook the meats for you and yep, they also grill the kimchi which isn't really a thing in the Philippines unless you grill the kimchi yourself. By the way, grilled kimchi is bomb and an entirely different experience. I don't think I can eat kimchi anymore without grilling it! I love how they have compartments for your personal belongings. Most of all, we didn't smell like grilled meat after stepping out of the restaurant! Ventilation = 10/10!

Korean culture has indeed influenced our lifestyle so massively, especially by the way we consume food nowadays. Who doesn't love KBBQ, anyway? There are some Korean Barbecue joints around UST but my favorite is still... Samgyupsalamat! Located at Fusebox Asturias, students literally wait in line for hours to satisfy the samgyupsal craving. I was one of them for so many circumstances.
