This photo is in Nusa Penida Island located at the south east of Indonesia's Island Bali and a district of Klungkung Regency that includes the neighboring small island of Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan and other twelve even smaller islands. Nusa Penida is one of the major on the major tourist attractions in Bali, I find is so breath-taking landscape, the location where I was standing is the trail going down to the sea shore too bad I wasn't able to do that because they said it's a more than 2 hours trails back and forth and also because of other side trips in the Island and surely miss my ferry boat back to Bali, Island. How to get there? There are two options for ferries speedboat or the slow ferry. Everyday ferries leave from Sanur and Padang Bai in Bali. Sanur is the primary point for tourists wishing to travel vis fast boat to the Island. Travel time :(40-45 minutes) Cost: Around: IDR -450,000-500,00/person inclusive of Ferry Transfers, Car rent the Island, Food (Lunch ONLY for a day Trip and Tourist Guide) Tips: -Better to go there in a group so you can save expenses for the Car rent in the Island (Remember? The more, the merrier). -Bring your own bottled water or jar. (As the Island is normally sunny to avoid dehydration + money saving + safe drinking water as the Island is not that commercialized like Bali). -Bring extra snacks or biscuits. (If you're not the type of person loves to eat Indian-Indonesian type of food. just like me.) -Pack light. For the thrill-seekers (and physically fit) visitors of Bali island, 𝗡𝘂𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮 is the new ultimate destination. With beautiful beaches aplenty and fewer tourists, I would highly recommend a trip before while it's still mostly undeveloped. Various speed boat liners connect Penida to Sanur, most running 4 times daily depending on tide conditions. 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! wear shorts and sandals, as you will be hopping onto the boat directly from the beach. In case of rough weather, the boat might not be able to land properly and 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 to wade your way back to shore! Gulp! In any of Bali's cities, you will be able to book day tours to Nusa Penida, but most will only cover either the west coast or the east coast. For the same price, we booked a private driver on KLOOK that took us all around the island. While the north coast has an asphalted road, the conditions in the south area were baffling, so expect longer commuting times and an extremely bumpy ride as your ride putters its way down narrow dirt trails in a cloud of dust. 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! Because of the road conditions, I highly discourage you to rent a scooter. Absolutely one of my fave spots in Siargao. The Magpupungko Tidal Pools only show up during low tide so you need to plan your trip well and ask the locals. It's always best to come here early as the water tends to become brown when there's a lot of people in the water. Careful about bringing your things and make sure you have strong slippers as the rocks are sharp
