Amman, Jordan • Recommendation •

Wonderful hole in the wall with the best authentic Italian cuisine we’ve ever tasted (sponsored by my italian wife), located in the heart of Amman Jordan. Locally sourced ingredients means menu changes accordingly but guarantees the best produce used in their dishes! Highly recommend the figs and shrimp linguine and wild mushroom risotto.

Close to the airport, this is a wonderful restaurant for date nights and celebratory dinners alike. Pics don’t do this place justice, and the local food is incredible.

Just off the exit from Paris Circle, WeFarm is a locally sourced setup with great ingredients that drive their lentil soups, tomato soups, peanut butter, zaatar and more! Be it in the dead of winter in need of a snuggle by a hot cuppa soup or Sunday pancakes with their dates&corn nuts peanut butter, this hidden gem is the perfect pit stop for a refuel!

Hashem Restaurant Down Town

1 save

Amman, Jordan • Recommendation •

Downtown street food in the heart of hustling bustling Amman might be a little rough around the edges, but for sure the best hummus, baba ghanoush and falafel in town! Tip: waiters only speak Arabic and only take cash

Wadi Rum Protected Area

1 save

Wādī as Sīr, Jordan • Recommendation •

Everyone will tell you that Wadi Rum is a must go, but I would urge you to experience it the ‘non-tourist’, and stay with the Bedouins (local desert natives) to unfold all the layers. Hot air balloon, camel rides and keep yours are incredible, and the starlight festival sells itself, but their way of life is something indescribable and fading.
