The very first Roman Catholic church in Korea. If you're going just to see it, I suggest maybe visiting on a weekday. They close the church to sightseers during mass times on Sundays, which is practically almost ever hour. PSA—if you're late for the 9am English mass, you can't get in anymore, so be early!!! Or actually, there might be a way to go in but we didn't try hard enough.

Boracay's Grotto
Boracay grotto is a famous and controversial landmark on Boracay island, which is one of the best islands in the world. The grotto is a cluster of rocks with a statue of the Virgin Mary on top. It is located at Station 1 of the White Beach, which is a long stretch of powdery white sand beach. Many tourists visit the grotto and take pictures with it. However, the grotto also has a history of controversy. In 2010, the statue of the Virgin Mary was removed by the owner of Willy's Resort, who had converted to a new religion. This caused a lot of protests and complaints from the local people and visitors, who considered the grotto as a sacred and iconic symbol of Boracay. The local government and the Catholic Church intervened and restored the statue after an investigation. The grotto was renamed as Boracay Rock and declared as a government-owned property.

This castle is so beautiful. There are so many tourist destinations in Japan, but I really wanted to visit castles so I can immerse myself with the culture.

Our local tourist guide recommended this place saying that every statue that you pray with your dreams will come true and a year later surprisingly mine did. 🤍
