Trot along Taipei's streets to taste some of the tastiest snacks! The best part? It's a total bang for your buck!
On my last night in Taipei, I wandered through Raohe Street Night Market—said to have the best collection of food offerings in Taipei's nocturnal culinary scene. Some of my favorites include the "hujiao bing" (pork pepper buns), chicken sausage (chicken wrapped in chicken), and spiced corn. 🐷🐤🌽

Everything I consumed at Shilin Night Market made my tummy do happy dances all night! 💃🏻 The torched wagyu cubes were jam-packed with savory juices. 👅 The cheese potatoes looked complicated but all the flavors—from the pineapple to the mayonnaise—married together so well! 👍🏼The fried milk was the absolute winner of my entire trip, though. 🍼 It was so good that I went back to get three more helpings! The candied strawberries were delicious. 🍓 I thought they'd be too sweet but the caramelized sugar perfecly complemented the natural sweetness of the fruit.

A cold serving of taro balls really hits the spot on a humid day in Jiufen! The tart vegetable may sound weird as a sweet dessert by itself but it actually works. 11/10 must try! 👌🏼

Ximending Night Market contains lots of food that's available at other night markets, making it convenient for people like me who stay near the area. I love, however, the multiple chicken joints here! J&G's Taiwanese fried chicken and squid popcorn lures you in with its powerful delectable aroma, teasing you of the flavor-fest that awaits at every bite. 🌬🤤
