Iloilo
Iloilo City, aptly titled "The City of Love," will always be home to me. Here's my favorite restaurants, coffee shops, hang-out spots, and more within the lively town! 📸 Rod Ervin Sollesta
Madge is on top of everyone's local coffee list. Great, cheap native coffee, enjoyed with a sweet treat from Bacolod's famous cakeshop, Calea! ☕️🍰 Place is a bit small, especially when it's crowded (which it is most of the time). If it's not that humid, go ahead and sit al fresco 🍃
Shops at Atria, Donato Pison Avenue, Barangay San Rafael Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
My favorite Chicken Inasal (grilled chicken skewers) in the city! I always get the Pecho (chicken breast) and garlic rice combo 😋 Gets pretty packed with the family crowd at eating hours, so come before then!
Benigno Aquino Avenue Service Road, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
Homemade ice cream for dessert! Flavors often rotate, but anything with strawberries is a winner! 🍧👅
The Avenue 21 Place, Benigno Aquino Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippines
My go-to for healthy food! Their Roti is amazing 😋
Atria Park District, Donato Pison Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
Best liempo (pork belly) in town, in my opinion! Skin's always so crunchy and the flavor and smokiness of the meat is A-plus. We rarely eat in the restaurant because they have a super convenient to-go counter—you'll have your piece chopped up and pack in just a few minutes! Pro tip: pair their liempo with Coke (which you'll have to buy elsewhere because all their soda products are Pepsi) for the best experience 🐷👌🏼
Lopez Jaena Street, Molo, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
My go-to coffee place when I only have less than PHP 50 to spare 😂 The java is delicious, the atmosphere is peaceful (though a bit hot), and the staff are super friendly! 👍🏼
Molo Plaza, Molo, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
My favorite Indian place in Iloilo! The food is legit and affordable. The Chappati and Channa Aloo Masala combo is my favorite. 😋 We also always get the Chicken Tikka Masala (warning: spicy) and the Beef Biryani Rice.
Delgado Street corner Jalandoni Street, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
Unlimited samgyupsal, sides, rice, and soup for PHP 400 (around USD 8). You get a free liter of soda if you're three or more people. Ate here with @millieoquendo!

Originally from Bacolod, Masskara Chicken is a fairly recent addition to the chicken inasal scene. It has already garnered a following though, and after having that pecho + garlic rice (ughhh, that garlic rice), I'm not at all surprised. 👅
2nd & 3rd Floors, Paragon Square Building, Donato Pison Avenue, San Rafael, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
A famous cake shop from Bacolod! It's said to have the best Ensaymada in the country according to Sandy Daza. I personally always stick to their Chocolate Cake. In my last visit though, we got a slice of the Salted Caramel Sans Rival and it was divine! 😍
