BLACK SCOPE CAFE SM CITY BICUTAN Another happy place for me since hello, milk tea and other cold drinks! (F)OOD: I was able to taste their Ovaltine drink and their Ghirardelli drink and these were all so yummy! Maybe because I am biased to anything chocolatey cold. Yet to try their other milk tea offerings though. (A)MBIENCE: They have ample spaces for small groups or for twos but not enough for big barkadas who love to hangout in milkshops. They are also located in front of a lotto outlet and it's an open space so not much privacy. (B)UTLER SERVICE: No problems with the staff, they are quick enough to create the drinks.

I love cold drinks so this place is a total happy land for me. (F)OOD: We were able to try their different milkshakes and ice cream desserts specially their Milo ice cream which was a delight. It's nice that they come up with different flavors every now and then that keeps their customers surprised and delighted every time, aside from having a lovely and instagrammable offerings. (A)MBIENCE:They have a small space with a small number of seats and is in an open area but is so instagrammable because of the neon lights that will surely catch the eye of anyone. (B)UTLER SERVICE:The staff were friendly and the orders came out very fast, as fast as the ice cream melts haha!

Whenever a family gathering is up and all are craving for Filipino food, Max's is always definitely on the list. (F)OOD:When in Max's, any order really ain't complete without the Max's Chicken. That crispy and lightly seasoned chicken that has been the favorite of different family generations. Sarap! and when dipped in that Jufran catsup. We were also able to try their pansit and their buko pandan, perfect accompaniment to the chicken! (A)MBIENCE:Typical Max's restaurant but they also have some seats outside the resto. (B)UTLER SERVICE:The staff were friendly and our orders arrived on time.

This is one of my go-to ramen restaurants for its affordability and yummy taste. (F)OOD:Their ramens are their bestsellers but they also offer sashimi, tempura and other rice dishes. Shiro Ramen - their white and basic ramen. I think this is more of a tonkotsu broth because the broth was rich and a little fatty Kuro Ramen - this is their black ramen with the Garlic flavor but with the same tonkotsu-based broth. Aka Ramen - This is their mild spicy flavor with their spicy shrimp paste-like flavor. Love this variant because it's a more challenging and flavorful ramen. Bari Kara - this is an extremely spicy ramen and not for the faint of heart. If you are up for an extra challenge, then this one is for you.The noodles in these ramens are firm and the serving size is big and seems right for two persons or for a hungry individual. Salmon sashimi - their salmon sashimi is OK but the consistency of the cut needs to be improved Gyudon - I love that you can control the flavor because the sauce is separated and you can pour it in Chicken Katsudon - simple and flavor is just OK Tempura - the flavor is OK but the size is not that big (A)MBIENCE:The place is a typical restaurant not that big but is clean and well-kept. They have a Japanese curtain in their restroom and a glass window for their kitchen giving it an impression of an open kitchen concept. (B)UTLER SERVICE:The servers were friendly and provided our orders and requests on time.

(F)OOD: I just love their chicken, mojos, spaghetti and their thin crust pizzas and what do they came up with? A 2020 Meet Up Meal Deal! It includes a basket of chicken, mojos, garlic bread, carbonara, spaghetti, a salad, 2 family-sized pizzas, mozzarella sticks and 2 pitchers of drinks! A great deal that is good for 8 to 10 persons. It also comes with a voucher that you can use next time and a Shakey's card! (A)MBIENCE: You will still feel the old pizza parlor salon in this Shakey's branch with the capiz lightings and the brick walls. (B)UTLER SERVICE: The servers are friendly and our orders came out on the right time.

The squid was tender and just had the right taste while the sisig and kare-kare are one of the most requested Filipino food here. (A)MBIENCE: It is convenient for large groups to dine here perfect for family and friends. (B)UTLER SERVICE: The servers are kind and our orders were provided on time.
