Glorious sunsets, glistening temples, and warm smiles are just among the many things that make Thailand golden
Bangkok, Ayutthaya
For the budget traveler, you wouldn’t want spending the most on accommodation. Hostels allow people to stay in shared spaces and if you don’t mind roomies, go for it! Here’s a list of hostels I’ve stayed in. More to come! (Hopefully in the near future 😬😬)
A little bit difficult to find at first, but this hostel was great. Only takes 10 minutes of walking to get to the nearest train station. The staff really keeps the place squeaky clean, and as for me, I really enjoyed the bathrooms. The common bathroom area was very spacious, had huge mirrors, and a heater (I love my hot showers 😬). I was in a mixed room, meaning it was for both males and females. Like any other hostel, it’s only as clean as how your roommates keep it. One occupant had piles of clothes in his bed. You do you! Haha *back to minding my own business*
238,238/1,238/2, Soi Songphra, Siphraya Road kwang mahapruttaram, khet, แขวง มหาพฤฒาราม เขต บางรัก กรุงเทพมหานคร 10500, Thailand
This is where I stayed the longest. My last hurrah before coming home. A bit more pricey, but the reviews say it all. Go here by yourself, or with your friends. It doesn’t matter. You’ll leave aching for a longer stay! This is a very social hostel where travelers from around the world really come and have a great time. The staff really puts in the extra effort for you to enjoy not only Bangkok but the company of fun-loving people. They arranged bike tours in the day, and by night, travel as a group to khao san road to enjoy the nightlife. The occupants also have the chance to represent their country in different drinking games. So much fun! 💗
120 15 Soi Sukhumvit 23, Khwaeng Khlong Toei Nuea, Khet Watthana, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10110, Thailand
This was my first taste of hostel culture, and upon entering, I was greeted by the cutest dog. 😭 My friends and I checked in at this place because it was conveniently near Khao San Road, and we really wanted to check it out. I liked it because in particular, it seemed to be part of a residential area so it was peaceful and quiet, a stark contrast to the wild Khao San Road. As for the hostel itself, the sleeping areas are comfortable. There are sockets for charging. I also enjoyed the bathrooms, even though you have to go up a few floors. Great vibe, great restaurants nearby, definitely recommend! 💗
