Rumah Makan Medan Baru is said to have the best Gulai Kepala Ikan (fish head curry) in town! Gorge on small, medium, or large fish heads covered in rich, fragrant, and buttery coconut curry that will have you smacking your lips with glee! Their Burung Punai Goreng (deep fried pigeon) is also a showstopper, served crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Enjoy it by itself or with a dollop of sambal; you're golden either way!

They chop up fruit and cucumber right on the spot; then, sprinkle peanuts, dried shrimp, and dried cuttlefish powder for extra relish.
