Originally built in 1891, Market Hall Nine is one of Berlin’s most popular covered markets. The iconic structure has been through the wringer—from damages caused by the World War II to impending commercialization. After undergoing renovations in 2011, it has opened its doors once again to host weekly markets and food festivals! Market Hall Nine is accessible to the public every day, but drop by at the end of the week for special treats. Street Food Thursdays are for sampling different international delicacies; while Fridays and Saturdays are dedicated to farm produce and traditional market items!
