Beef and Liberty is the product of rigorous research in perfecting the hamburger recipe—from meat-to-bun ratios, cheese meltability, and grind coarseness, to name a few. Their delicious creations have made it to the Michelin Guide and garnered praise from top publications, so there’s no denying that they serve one of the best in the city. Don’t pass on their Black Pepper burger, which features a hormone-free beef patty from Scottish Longhorn cattle cooked to perfection with caramelized onions and raclette cheese.

Stanley is a wonderfully stylish and dog-friendly area in general, with some of the eateries in the plaza being very accommodating to pets. Beef & Liberty is happy to host you and your dog, and will even provide water and snacks for them! The plaza has little metal hooks where you can leash your dog, but this is not recommended if you are staying a while. A much better idea is to attach the leash to a leg of your chair so that you and your mutt can enjoy the same breezy scenes from the comfort of this restaurant. As a bonus, Beef & Liberty strives toward reducing packaging waste by being one of the first restaurants in Hong Kong to install water filters, instead of providing glass and plastic water bottles—even more reason to pay them a visit!
