The second highest in Hong Kong, Lantau Peak features a majestic view of the sprawling ocean from the summit. The mountain is locally known as “Fung Wong Shan” (鳳凰山, Cantonese for “Phoenix Mountain”) made up of two peaks named Fung Shan (鳳山, male phoenix) and Wong Shan (凰山, female phoenix). Signifying rebirth, this is one of the most ideal places to propose and feel reborn as a newly engaged couple.
