Recommendation by Lemi
Restoran Kim Lian Kee is said to be the birthplace of Hokkien Mee (stir-fried noodles) in Kuala Lumpur. They started as a humble noodle stall in 1927 and has now flourished into a beloved local institution! Here, rice noodles are mixed with egg, pork, prawns, and squid, then doused with a thick soy-based gravy. Feel free to savor it on its own, or add dollops of sambal belacan (chili shrimp paste) to spice things up!
