Nanjing Road is more than just the city’s main shopping street. It’s also one of the world’s busiest shopping districts, inviting over a million locals and tourists to scour its 5.5-kilometer stretch. Start at West Nanjing Road where you’ll discover a plethora of luxury fashion boutiques, upscale restaurants, and five-star hotels. Then, make your way to East Nanjing Road to see some of Shanghai’s oldest department stores and local traditional eateries. There are over 600 commercial establishments here, so you definitely won’t run out of places to go!
