Coming from the Guarani Indian words “y” meaning “water” and “ûasú” meaning “big,” the name is an understatement to the almighty falls that links the border of Brazil and Argentina. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is made up of 275 waterfalls spanning 2.7 kilometers, quadruple the range of the Niagara Horseshoe Falls—truly a sight to behold!
