Take a scenic cable car ride to Ngong Ping Village in Lantau Island and come face-to-face with the Big Buddha! Completed in 1993, the 34-meter bronze statue was built facing north to watch over the Chinese community. Join pilgrims and visitors from all over the world as you climb 268 steps to reach the Buddha. The landmark is also located near the Po Lin Monastery, an important Buddhist monastery in Hong Kong.
