This fish and chip shop won the award as best fish and chip shop in Britain. I think there are 4 linked shops, the one I went to in Willerby, one in Hull itself and one each in Scarborough and Gainsborough. Excellent quality, large large portions and extraordinarily reasonable cost. Fish and chips is a must do in England but sadly not all fish and chip shops are as good as this one!

No, we ate in the restaurant do it was on a plate! But they pay homage to the heritage by making the menu in a newspaper format.
And does it come wrapped in newspaper?
