Bacolod City, Mansilingan
Welcome to sugar-town! 🌾
Although you can find it in one of Bacolod’s busiest streets (On the opposite side of the Rolis Arcade in La Salle Avenue), it’s definitely a hidden gem for sure! It’s a mobile bakery, and the bread is baked on the spot. Spanish Bread (bread with a sweet buttery filling) is the only thing on the menu though, but at P5 apiece, it’s definitely worth the wait under the sweltering heat.

The “Tagaytay” of Negros aka the place you escape to chill for a while, and to just feel the cool mountain air. 🍃 There’s great hiking spots here like the Malan-taog Falls. 💪🏽

Bacolod is best-known for it’s grilled chicken and Manokan Country has it all! 🙌🏼 My usual order: Paa (Chicken Leg), Atay (Chicken Liver), Batikulon (Chicken Gizzard), and Garlic Rice (or two).... with a dipping sauce mix of calamansi, soy sauce, and sinamak or spicy vinegar 🤤
