One of the largest, oldest and most visited museums in the world! This was Catherine the Great’s heaven. She filled this with around 3 million items and collections of art and paintings. Unfortunately, only a small portion of the collection is open for public display. But I’ll take what I can get! 🖼

If there’s the Hermitage Museum for the arts, there’s the Faberge Museum for jewelry! 💍 Dedicated to the great jeweler Carl Faberge, the Museum today holds Russian works of decorative and fine art and has more than 4,000 items (including many from the Royal family and other royal courts!)! 👑 Some say this Museum has one of the best collections in the world, so I’m definitely listing this down. 📸 Credits to the owners of these photos.
