Biblioteca Joanina has been hailed as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. And rightfully so, with it's exquisite Baroque stylings, built in 1717. You can't help but be breathless from the exotic woods and gold that support various books spanning in age from the 15th to the 19th century. These priceless books range from medicince, theologuy, philosophy, humanities, science, history, and law.
