The places with dishes that make my mouth water and my heart jump at the very thought!
Go-to: a small bowl of Spicy Tuna Shoyu or Ginger Salmon with brown rice! Favourite post-payday splurge.

Eggplant Parmigiana + Greek Salad + Marinated Olives with Pita = the way to my heart👌🤤💖

Probably the best soft tacos I’ve had 🤤 I had the Oyster from the regular menu and their daily specials: Lengua and Chicharon! 💖👌
248 Aguirre Avenue, BF Homes, Parañaque City
This popular spot in Little Tokyo is always busy. Expect to wait in line for a table. Service is quick and no-fuss. Their food is good value for authentic Japanese fare. In the 📷: Special California Maki, Salmon Sashimi, and seaweed salad. (Good for two, we were stuffed!)
Little Tokyo, 2277 Chino Roces Avenue, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Wabi Sabi doesn't advertise it but (from all I've heard and tried) their menu is vegetarian! They offer various Asian noodle dishes like Shoyu Ramen, Vietnamese Pho, and Tom Yum. Best enjoyed with a side (think: Vegetarian Cracklings or Banmi). I got the Miso Ramen and Okonomigyoza (a mash-up of izakaya-faves, gyoza and okonomiyaki) for my first visit. Can't wait to go back and try everything else! 💖
305 Pos Bldg., Sct.Madriñan, Tomas Morato Ave, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Of all their tempting menu items, the banana roti with condensed milk is the primary reason I come here. It reminds me of the street stall I used to order from when I was growing up in BKK!
Second Floor Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
Your neighbourhood Asian convenience store. Stock up on instant noodles, addictive snacks, and hard-to-find ingredients. A trip to Rada Mart always results in a bag of Thai champoy, banana milk, and Korean ice cream.
Rada Street, Legazpi Village, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines
I've been craving roast duck so badly (it's ridiculous!) so imagine my unhinged joy to finally try Wai Ying after my friends' recommendations. Arrived around noon on a Saturday, was 20th in line (they were serving the 15th). Worth the wait! Service was quick and friendly. Got my Roast Duck Rice with a side of Buchi and Hot HK Milk Tea. 💖
810 Benavidez Street, Binondo, Manila, Philippines
When I'm feeling spendy, I get a bag of sour & salty dried plums (kiamoy/champoy) all for myself. 💁🏽♀️ Extensive selection of dried plums, smaller collection of Japanese specialty snacks and generic candy.
2/L Glorietta 4, Ayala Center, Makati City, 1200, Makati, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
Salads, pasta, and healthy rice bowls. I loved their Bibimbap Bowl. Hefty serving of guilt-free goodness!
G/F, BCS Building, 2297 Chino Roces Ave, Makati, Kalakhang Maynila, Philippines
Hot take: I like their wings better than their burgers (Buffalo Wings with Lime Blue Cheese Dip + Onion Rings, always)👌 I'm just not a big fan of beef. Protip: ask for extra powder on your onion rings for that kick of salt🍟
