Quezon City, Pasig City
One of the things that I love about Quezon City is their wide selection of restaurants to go to. There are a lot of hidden gems that I'm glad I did not miss out on, thanks to friends who introduced me to most of the ones I listed down here. I haven't been around the city as much as I used to, but I'll make sure I'll visit my favorites again once I go back!
I go to Cafe Quezon when I'm craving for something close to home. I highly recommend their Spicy Tuna Spaghetti plus their Caramel Pilipit! Best dessert ever. Their crew is also very warm and accommodating.
179 Maginhawa Street, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Indonyaki's food comes in really generous amounts so if you're super hungry and you want something not so pricey, this restaurant is the way to go! A good meal to start with is their classic Ayam Goreng Combo.
#61 Maginhawa Street, UP Village, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Tomato Kick's been home to bands all over the metro, so if you happen to dine in this restaurant midweek or especially during the weekend, you’ll catch live bands while enjoying great food! A must try is their Crispy Bacon Liempo and Sisig Pasta.
Malingap Street, Teachers Village, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Korean food's been getting a lot of attention lately, and it's no surprise why most Korean restaurants are often fully booked. But good news is, this underrated resto serves you your favorites, and yes, that includes the tasty Sangyupsal! Also worth a try is their Yangnyeom Chicken.
5-A Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
I always head to Red Hana whenever I'm craving for Japanese food but on a budget. For less than 200 php, you get a big serving of their classic don and bento meals. Highly recommendable if you want your tummy filled and getting that Japanese food fix without spending too much.
24 Matalino Street, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
My favorite drinking place in Cubao Expo. Cheap beer, super good Takoyaki too!
Cubao Expo, 3 General Romulo Avenue, Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Excellent Batangas food for a budget-friendly price. Must try: Pancit Bihon, Bulalo, Sisig, the classic Silogs.
98 Malakas Street, Barangay Pinyahan, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
So many things to love about Blake's, other than their food. I like that they take your order by letting you fill up a checklist attached to a cardboard. For the food, a must try is their Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings and Truffle Cream Pasta. For your veggie needs, their Garden Salad's the best. Thank me later.
186 Katipunan Ave, Project 4, Quezon City, 1800 Metro Manila, Philippines
You can never go wrong with their Kebab Platter and Shawarma wrap. Make sure to splurge on the spicy sauce. 🔥
Diliman 45 Malingap St., Teacher's Village, Quezon City, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
I highly suggest this place for drinks and chill conversations where you and your friends can actually hear each other. The music is not too loud, and they have a pretty good taste too!
21 Malingap, Diliman, Lungsod Quezon, 1101 Kalakhang Maynila, Philippines
Great ambience, food, coffee all in one. This is one of my top picks for a quiet place to work.
Coffee Science Center, No. 45 Maalalahanin, Diliman, Quezon City, 1101 Metro Manila, Philippines
This tapa place is a personal go to for post gig meals. They serve hearty tapsilog, perfect for your savory comfort food needs, or that breakfast kick.
