I was born and raised in this beautiful Hometown. There are other food establishments actually that I'd love to include on this list but I don't have any photos of them. Marikina is such a wonderful place especially for the foodies like me. Will continue to post other food business from this lovely place so stay tuned 😉
Had a dazzling dinner last year in one of the hidden gem in Marikina @beeffalobyhotrocks I'm a huge fan of Alfresco dining and if you also do I bet you'd also fall in love in the place too. The ambiance gave me a feeling of being in Western country and I'm about to indulge in some of the best American food in a relaxing homey ranch-style house. Our eyes were intrigued and amazed at some nice vintage items displayed all over the place. What we also enjoyed is their 90's music on the background. . 🔸The food: We started with their appetizer, Potato Wedges with Blue Cheese Dip For the soup we had Roasted Pumpkin Soup This one I love the most, Margherita Biscuit Pizza (fresh tomato and basil) We can't miss Pasta so we ordered Puttanesca (garlic, tomato, black olives, capers in olive oil), And for the Steak we had Porterhouse 250g (in rare and medium rare) served with mashed potatoes and vegetable sides For off the grill pork, we chose Jack Daniel's Country Style Pork Ribs The best part is their Red Wine (cabernet sauvignon) 🍷💯👌

Had a bountiful lunch a couple of weeks ago at Krung Thai restaurant in Marikina. . We had Sticky rice with mango, Thai iced tea, Spring rolls and Pad Thai 😋💖 . If you're in the mood for some Thai cuisine, this restaurant is worth visiting. They are located along P. Burgos St, Brgy Sta. Elena (in front of Femas Bakery) . Can't wait for my next visit so I can try their salad and ofcourse the famous Tom Yum soup 😍 Will also take a photo of their interior next time. They're also selling some Thai condiments there which I forgot to check out. . Are you also a fan of Thai cuisine? What are your favorite Thai dishes?

This is the second time I tried Kanto Freestyle Breakfast in Marikina. The first one was in Eastwood. Every time I see people posting their meals in this resto, I can't help but drool over their food. The plating is totally on point and when I tried their Champorado before I really fell inlove. This time we had their tuyo and beef tapa and for dessert we tried their Ice scramble which is one of Pinoy's most loved streetfood. I love the presentation of each meal served to us. Their service was good too but for me it's a bit pricey for a Filipino dish.

This small resto along J. P Rizal street in Marikina is my favourite spot. They have this cozy, vintage theme and the food are so remarkable. I love their pasta and this clubhouse sandwich is totally awesome. The prices of their food are surprisingly affordable given how tasty they are. The presentation is also impressive. When it comes to service, they only have like 1 staff sometimes 2 who acts as a cashier and a server at the same time but that doesn't affect the quality of service. Courtesy, friendlyness and accuracy never fails in all of my visit there.

When it comes to Pinoy kakanin I always go to Don Benitos. Their cassave cake, pichi pichi, ice cream and ube halaya are one of those in their menu that I have tried. The packaging is so nice and the price is just right for the quality of ingredients used and the serving size. Their branch in Marikina has a really good service. . My mom loves pichi pichi and what I love about their version is the softness and the generous cheese toppings. The ubenito is not too sweet and has a rich ube taste too. . If you're also a fan of kakanin, then you'd definitely enjoy Don Benitos.

We visited House of Unicorns in Marikina way back 2018. We were wandering along Lilac street and looking for a kid friendly resto for my daughter. This place is a heaven for kids and kids at heart. The interior is really nice and Instagrammable. They have tents and double deck beds and the exciting part is wearing the unicorn costume which are sooo cute 🦄😍💕 We had their waffle, Aglio olio pasta, some revel bars and vanilla milkshake. Everything tasted so good and we really enjoyed our stay. All their staff were very courteous and friendly too. Sadly they're closed now. Hopefully they'll open again with more dishes and unicorns 🤩
