When it comes to Pinoy kakanin I always go to Don Benitos. Their cassave cake, pichi pichi, ice cream and ube halaya are one of those in their menu that I have tried. The packaging is so nice and the price is just right for the quality of ingredients used and the serving size. Their branch in Marikina has a really good service. . My mom loves pichi pichi and what I love about their version is the softness and the generous cheese toppings. The ubenito is not too sweet and has a rich ube taste too. . If you're also a fan of kakanin, then you'd definitely enjoy Don Benitos.

The cake was delicious but the cafe was...strange. There were signs telling you to speak quietly and they would come over and tell you to be quiet if you spoke basically above a whisper. It may have been just for COVID at the time, but I still maybe recommend taking a slice to go.
