A six course meal experience at Pigs and Pints- a gastropub that offers “the best vibes in the city”. Every month, Chef Bong Sagmit customizes the monthly course meal menu. For the month of February, I finally got to experience the restaurant’s meal course- this one is a special valentine experience and more enjoyable than the usual five course meal offered. Besides the dim lighting and rustic space, I cannot rave enough how much I enjoyed each plate. So here’s a list of the meals offered that made me in love in every first bite.
The first plate was an explosion of flavors. The serving size may seem too little but every bite of this dish is powerful which makes it satisying enough. The truffle egg paired with slices of confit of pumpkins, roasted beets and braised octopus is a big statement of how much more we can look forward to to this experience.

Heirloom corn soup with crispy soft shell crab. Not a fan of crab if i have to crack it open for the meat so i really appreciated this crispy soft shell crab
