Glorious sunsets, glistening temples, and warm smiles are just among the many things that make Thailand golden
Bangkok
Earlier this year I decided to venture out on a whole new interest. It rooted from my craving for good energy. There's a whole lot of bad going on around the world and I want to choose to see the good. I learned (actually still learning) Tarot Reading. It was a tool to help me and other people understand and process what has happened, what's happening and what can happen. I've been eyeing this place for a long time now... Bangkok, Thailand is an interesting place to explore. 😊 Especially since it's heavily linked with Buddhist spirituality, I've always wanted to meditate and be surrounded by their energy. I strongly believe we feed off of each other's energy ✨That's why sometimes we learn from people even without talking to them. So surround yourself with people who give you the good vibrations! And then once in a while, explore and feel the energy in other places. Somewhere like Bangkok.
One of the must-plans during travelling are the accommodations. It's a place of rest after a long day of wandering around the city or a place of meeting other travelers and locals. Ad Lib Hotel ticks all the check boxes on my list! ✔️ Homey entrance ✔️ Great exterior and interior design ✔️ Bed comforters (Yes!!) ✔️ Buffet breakfast ✔️ Pool! Not just any pool, SALTWATER POOL Heard they have very accommodating and friendly staff! What more can I ask for? 😍

A trip wouldn't be complete without shopping, right?! I've always wanted to go to Bangkok's 35-acre shopping heaven, Chatuchak Market! 😍 From local handicrafts to clothes, accessories, house decorations, name it they've got it. Not only you can shop til you drop, there are local food stalls stationed everywhere. Easier to replenish your energy for another round of shopping! 🤪

Every time I see a Buddha statue or image, I always feel it's calm and serene energy. While researching where to go in Bangkok, I was surprised to find that there's an existing "Temple of Reclining Buddha". What's more calm and serene than that? ✨ Definitely a must-see for a chill person like me.

Whenever I do out of the country trips, I always make sure to visit a piece of history to get to know the country more. The Grand Palace is a must-see when visiting Bangkok, Thailand. Imagine visiting the official residence of their king from hundreds of years ago! Now it's open to the public, here's our chance to walk like a royal. 👑

So we were talking about walking like royals at The Grand Palace right? Now it's time to feast like one! 👸🏽 This 2-decade restaurant is headed by a chef who once cooked for the royal family. Now his family runs Krua Apsorn! Their crab pancakes are sooo good, Michelin acknowledged it. 🤯 Can't leave Bangkok without eating here!

Gather around tea lovers like me! 🍵 This glasshouse cafe is filled with ferns, flowers, afternoon tea and cakes. Who would've thought there'd be a cafe like this in a shopping mall? I'm so intrigued with their Afternoon Tea Set for 4. As snacklord... it might be for 2. 😬

This literal (rabbit) hole in the wall is yet to be discovered! 🐰 The door to the bar is a huge wooden door with no signages, located in between a japanese bar and ramen place. I've read it's tricky to find but totally worth it! Look at that interior. 😍 Can't wait to have drinks in this ambience. 🍸
