Without having to drive far, Intramuros allows you to enjoy yourself in a rich history hidden behind huge walls and cobblestone street that have been destroyed, preserved, and rebuilt many times. By visiting Bahay Tsinoy, Casa Manila, or the Distileria Limtuaco Museum, the country's oldest distillery, you may find yourself in the tactile traces of diverse cultures that influenced Intramuros, such as American, Spanish, and Chinese.

Intramuros is one of the best tourist spots where people can visit and explore. There are museums that you can visit and take pictures for your best experience. Visiting the museums there is really good because you will see things that you did not expect to exist and you will be able to learn about it. The area is also accessible for food and drinks if you need to buy. I would highly recommend you guys to visit Intramuros with your family, friends or special someone.

Considered the political, educational, and religious center of the Spanish Empire in the Philippines and the historic core of Manila, Intramuros used to be an opulent walled city, strategically located along the Manila Bay. It was the seat of Spanish rule from the late 16th century to the 19th century. The walls were constructed between 1590 and 1872, encompassing what was then the entire city of Manila.

Hey there! Are you ready to go on a beautiful escape with me this time? If yes, then prepare yourself for a one great kind of adventure! Life is so much better if you’ll just try to look at it in different angles. May it be north, south, east or west, life offers you so much to explore and experience. Well, luckily today, I’ll be taking you on a beautiful escape in Intramuros. Intramuros, or the ‘Walled City’, is one of the oldest districts of Manila, built on the south bank of the Pasig River around 1571. It was built by the Spaniards – more specifically by Miguel Lopez de Legaspi – and is bound on all sides by moats and thick, high walls, with some over 6 metres high. Aside from it’s rich historical and cultural highlights, Intramuros is a place where you can experience how it feels like to travel using a time machine. It shows you a lot of things to reminisce including events that in one way or another made an impact to who we are today. So if I were you, go and visit Intramuros - a place that will make you feel good and deeply proud that you are a Filipino. ⛪️🍃

Re-discover Manila’s Old World Charm It’s actually “a walk to remember” because Intramuros has so much history. One of the exciting activities we had was a visit to four historic places inside the Manila’s famous walled city.

not only will one find true pinoy heritage in intramuros, you’ll even get to live it. immerse yourself in the place, the scenery, activities and even the food of traditional pinoy culture one can grasp only in intramuros. imma go back and try riding the bamboo bikes around the city and i was told it was best to do so nearing sunset.

Batala Bar How I miss this place since they're now in Intramuros. but the new location fits them well coz of the Pinoy ambience they promote. Just in case you visit don't forget to try their Bambanog. The woody taste is sooo good you'll never realize you're drunk 🤪 They serve Icecream too.

I’ve always loved historical places, this is why the Nagoya Castle is first on the list.

Rome's Pantheon, the ancient temple of all the gods, was built between AD 118-125 by Emperor Hadrian. Today is surrounded by a pleasant and lively piazza, a nice place to sit in the evening and enjoy a drink. Admission to the Pantheon is free.

I had fun with my family dressing up. It’s like time traveling. Being in a traditional outfit inside a palace, surrounded by buildings and large advertisement screens is a cool experience.
