The most visited falls in Sagada. The word Bomod-ok simply means "Big" thus the name came from “The Big Falls”! The thought of “This must be worth it.” is instilled in my mind, gasping for air, while going through a two-hour trek (and that is only one-way). The route is not for the weak - walking on thin muddy trails and going up and down some rock formations, not to mention the another two-hour trip to return to your starting point. After all of the constant self motivation “You can do it! Just a bit more.” 😅, the gasping of air and my jello legs, it’s all worth it.

Take a deep breath before you start the trail as this will definitely make you gasp some air. You will surely feel tired along the way but the view and the fresh air will encourage you to move forward until you arrive on the magnicent falls. 📷 Photo not mine

Tangadan Falls
To all the pa-fall out there, this one is for you. 🤣 How to get there: - Going to Tangadan Falls, we rented a tricycle for P1,100 which took us to Tangadan Falls’ jump off point, Thunderbird Resort, and Lighthouse (including waiting time). Basically we rented it for the day. -Guide fee for Tangadan Falls is P200/pax and it’s already two-way. Environmental fee is P35/pax. The trek to Tangdan Falls will take an hour/way so please bring water.
Nungnung Waterfall
Among the tallest waterfalls in Bali, boasting a 50m drop, the beautiful jungle enclave that surrounds Nungnung attracts many the waterfall-chaser. Since you have to trek 2 km among hills and lush rice plantations and climb down (and then back up!) some 500 steep and slippery steps to reach it, you'll find it to be less crowded than other more readily accessible locations. A thundering sound makes the waterfall's presence known before it actually comes into view. Crashing water creates a magical mist over the pool, and the lush greenery of the enclosing jungle is the perfect backdrop for a refreshing swim after the hike. 👍 Always be extra-cautious while swimming in waterfalls. Slippery stones and strong suction can easily wash the careless away! ❗ Double-check the actual conditions if you are visiting during the dry season, as there may be no waterfall at all!
