Missing Thailand 🇹🇭— the food, the shopping and the temples Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. You should also try their streetfoods— pad thai and mango sticky rice. Don’t forget to ride a tuktuk

Wat Phra Chetuphon (Wat Pho) “Temple of The Reclining Buddha” • it’s a must-see for any first-timer when visiting Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that always being highlighted for most people when visiting Wat Pho. The figures here are impressive; 15 meters tall, 46 meters long also fully covered with gold. Easy access to enter this place. 👍🏻 ~ After a walk around the temple, there’s nothing quite like a relaxing foot or head and shoulder massage. Psstt... Wat Pho is also a great place to get a traditional Thai massage.. we should try their authentic and traditional thai massage to pamper ourselves and release our tiredness.👌🏻😊 • I can’t wait to see this fabulous temple with my very own eyes..♥️ and also try their traditional Thai massage! Woohoo.. see ya Wat Pho!😍 • The complete name of this temple is Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhlaram Ratchaworamahawihan - วัดพระเชตุพน วิมลมังคลารามราชวรมหาวิหาร #FunFact

“Second wonders of Thailand” Wat Pho is the soul of Bangkok. The first thing that comes up to your mind when you hear Buddha is Thailand. After reading about it, I’m curios of how long does Wat Pho personally. I need to find out! 🤔😄

You're in Bangkok, better see a few temples right? The Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) is home to the aforementioned enormous reclining Buddha, which has to be seen to be believed! Nearby is the Grand Palace. While you can take a taxi, the most fun way to get to the temples is via the Chao Phraya Express Boat.

Your trip to Bangkok won’t feel complete without visiting Wat Pho’s famed Reclining Buddha. One of the oldest temples in the city, it houses a 46-meter-long statue of Buddha in a resting position covered in gold leaf. Another attraction that Wat Pho holds is its significance as the birthplace of Thai-style massage, which is still taught and practiced within the temple. While here, take a quick break with a traditional Thai massage to relax and de-stress!

The Wat Pho Temple, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, is where it all started for traditional Thai massage and medicine. Known as the largest complex temple in Bangkok, traditional Thai massages are done inside this iconic edifice. Witness decades of history and culture unfold before your eyes as you relax and unwind for the day.

Sensō-ji (金龍山浅草寺, Kinryū-zan Sensō-ji) is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo's oldest temple, and one of its most significant. Formerly associated with the Tendai sect of Buddhism, it became independent after World War II. Adjacent to the temple is a five-story pagoda, the Asakusa Shinto shrine,[1] as well as many shops with traditional goods in the Nakamise-dōri. When we went there there’s a lot of people. If you have kids and still riding a stroller, they have a lift so you can enter the temple. I will recommend this place.

The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruna, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun. Wat Arun is among the best known of Thailand's landmarks. The first light of the morning reflects off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence
