I spent about a month or two in Singapore in 2016. I was only 19, and it was my first time traveling in a foreign country alone. I went wherever my feet and my bus app could take me. Back then, the possibilities felt endless, what with a small semblance of independence in my grasp and a map in hand. Through this list, I bask in nostalgia and try to remember what it was like having smaller things to worry about.
VERY EXPENSIVE but the food is great, and of course, adorable.

Beautiful and lined with very interesting shops. Careful not to get pulled into a sales pitch. Try the food though!

Best place in Singapore. Had my fill of comic books, art books, and so much more here. You’ll love it if you’re nuts for resources like me.
