It’s true— once you tried another country’s transportation system, you won’t ever commute in the Philippines the same way again. Rush hour? No worries, you’ll still get a seat. Toilet call? Let me tell you something, mate! I’ve never seen a public library THIS amazing! It’s a public library and heritage center—in one! My date, despite being Australian, has never been inside the library so we checked it out. It’s like a modern museum inside! There are floors specific for books, board games, VIDEO GAMES, meeting rooms, nap area, and vice versa! Just wow.

It’s weird that I got used to calling “milktea” as milktea but they call it boba/bubble tea in Australia. Michael has never tasted a boba tea in his life before and when I made him try one, HE FREAKIN’ ACCIDENTALLY AND QUICKLY SWALLOWED A PEARL. T’was funny HAHAHAHA but he said he liked it!! Fun fact: The owner of the store is pure Filipino, that’s why 90% of people who work there are also Filos.

Alright so, when Michael proposed the date plan, he said we should go to Westfield. My dumb ass thought it’s a train station,,, but yes, it’s a Mall! Man, I didnt know that Australia has bland taste in popcorn. Michael asked me what flavor of popcorn he should buy and my Filipino ass said “barbecue or sour cream.” He looked at me in confusion as if it’s his first time to hear such popcorn flavors. They’ve only got buttered popcorn (you cant even taste the butter its just oil and salt) and odd flavors such as blueberry—-who the heck even likes that? 😩 Lion King was also pretty meh.
